I can’t do justice to just how fabulous Blake’s director of sales, celebrity liaison, general gatekeeper and frontwoman Cheryl Howard was – one part Siouxsie Sioux, one part Welsh cabaret queen; when she was in residence, she was a confidante to allcomers. Dining with her at Blakes, was one of the best nights out that you could have in London.
